From zero to 23!

Dear Levi,
You are 23 weeks already.  I find this shocking.  There's no way you have been alive for 23 weeks.  That's almost half of a year! INCONCEIVABLE! (Princess Bride is one of your Daddy's favorite movies.)
You are a VERY busy boy.  You are "crawling" around everywhere and are trying to get into the sitting position on your own.  Just this morning you impressed your friends at mom's group with your crawling skills and your yoga moves.  They vote that you are going to be an olympic athlete some day.

You also amused us all with your intense ability to "covet thy friend's toy".  You wanted Weston's toy so badly and even though we moved you, moved the toy, and put countless other toys in your path, you could not be discouraged.  I can only hope that you go after your dreams the way you did that toy today.
You are now eating three meals a day along with four bottles.  You love all food.  You tried squash and peas over the past week.  You LOVE squash.  Especially the kind I made.  You also had blueberries and spinach.
You proved to be a champion traveler over the past week.  In nine days we stayed in three hotels. You went on your first vacation to San Antonio.  Drank out of a sippy cup for the first time.  Rode in your first street car. Rode on a Taxi boat.  Met your Aunt Robin and Uncle Thom.

You also said good bye to Daddy this week.  It was hard for all three of us.  But mostly Daddy and I.  We truly hope that you don't remember this time.  And that we don't let our hurt affect you. I also pray that when Daddy gets home that you greet him with the biggest smile you've got.
Daddy and I love you so much sweet boy. Can't wait to see what you do next!

Love, Mommy
