I'm finally into the swing of school, despite the fact that I haven't worked my full case load yet. Holidays and sick days have prevented me from seeing any patients on Mondays thus far. I woke up this morning to find out that now my supervisor is sick... so I guess this Monday won't be happening either.
On Friday William tired to accept his offer with Halliburton, but after about 15 minutes of failed fax transmission and one phone call we realized no one care that he was trying to submit his acceptance. They were all iced in in their homes. And the fax machine was clearly not going to work. So he emailed saying he had tried and is going to try again tomorrow! He did speak to his soon-to-be supervisor last week and it appears that we will be staying in Dallas. This is such a relief. They will let him have his company truck here and he will commute to the job sites! LOVE IT!
This semester is going by so fast. It's incredibly hard to believe that in only a few short weeks I will be taking COMPs/ Praxis and then will have my master's soon after. I'm really excited to be able to start putting my resume out there.
