Here we go.

January 17... found out my body has some sort of issue. I was with William when I found out. I was still pretty sad.

January 27 I'm going to start taking Provera so that my body will "reboot". This is for 10 days.

Day 3 of my cycle I will start Clomid. Hopefully this will be around Feb. 8-9.

We will see what happens.

Bullets

I'm super excited about going to Llano this weekend with some friends. It will be bitter sweet without my hubby... but it will be great to get away and have some fun. I really cherish the friendship I have with "William's friends". They accepted me as their friend even before they knew me. Jenn Linden Cargill let me sleep on her couch before she even had a real conversation with me. And well... Troy, yea, he's done to much to name!
I think running makes me a better person. I am more efficient at home and at work. I'm happier. ("Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands"... name the movie)
Only 24 days until I see William. And super excited for all his positive feedback at school and his potential job interview this week!
So far I've ran 5.1 miles this week. That's impressive.
I finished reading House Rules. So my one book a month plan is still on track. I'm quite behind in reading my devotional but maybe I'll have some time to catch up this weekend or something. I'll write a review about House Rules soon. I definitely recommend it although the ending wasn't my favorite!

Here are some shots of Bisbee taken from a little pull off on the highway. I was squaking at William to pull over so I could take a picture. He thought I was crazy. I was like "Look, there's a little lookout spot". He was like "It's for safety, not pictures." If he didn't stop I was resigned to jump from the car :)

Picture from the car of the mountains in front of us! There was snow on the tops of them... but it was near 75 in the valley. Ahh the desert.

We headed to Tombstone, AZ. It's a pretty hokey western town now. Complete with reenactments of the OK Corral gun fights. We got out and wandered the streets for about 30 minutes. William tried on cowboy hats because he apparently needs one for his Cav uniform. Who knew? I asked if it was only units in Texas that wore them and he told me that Cav units everywhere did it.

Here is the Courthouse in Tombstone. It was pretty. The flags across Arizona were still at half mast. It was a little strage to be there in the aftermath of the shootings. People were definitely more on edge in their airport and on our flight than the last time I flew out of there.

Amazing Weekend Part I

William and I had amazing time last weekend in Arizona. I've to the point where I can enjoy our little adventures. It's still quite difficult being apart... but I could live with regular adventures. They keep things interesting!

I flew into Tucson late Friday night. William picked me up but not until he had a brief run in with the Border Patrol. Apparently you should hesitate to think about the answers to their questions... oh well.

We stayed the night in Sierra Vista (just outside of Ft. Huachuca). In the morning, William brought me Sonic in bed. Yes, I said it. Sonic. And you all thought I had lost my marbles when I got him a Sonic cake. Nope. I just know my husband.

We headed out to Bisbee, Arizona. It's only like 30 minutes from Sierra Vista. A nice little drive.

It's a super cute town. Our hotel is the windows that stick out. It was called the Letson.

We went to a Mine before we checked into our room. There was a nice little museum and gift shop set up.

This was apparently the safety reporting space. I'm not entirely sure how it worked... but I liked how it looked.

And of course... William in his.

This man was our tour guide... he's a real live miner. Although this mine is closed now, he grew up working in a nearby mine. You can also see the mine entrance and the little "train" we rode on.

Mine rocks...

This is the mine shaft. Original timber still in place... which is why we signed our life away before entering it. I was feeling safe until he started explaining why they only used parts of the mine for the tour... and showing us all the tunnels blocked by collapses.

This is our beautiful room at the Letson. It even had a skylight!

Little did I know that William had driven there the day before to leave Champagne and roses in our room for me. Very sweet! I tried to keep a rose... but William squished it on our ride home. Typical!

Quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in!

Oh... and a picture of my new purse/camera bag!! Cute right! It was so perfect on our trip. It fit everything I needed it to with room to spare. Plus it was super stylish and had a perfect cross body strap so that I could have my hands free for taking pictures while walking around.

And this was a very interesting house. Definitely someone interesting living there too. He was blasting some sort of "propaganda" over a loud speaker attached to his house. This definitely demonstrates the accepting/ artistic side of Bisbee. It's also know for being very gay friendly.
