On Friday we tried to eat at Salt Lick for lunch but Levi was overtired and so he cried through the whole meal. A bunch of tourists were there and I didn't want to ruin their experience so I kept hauling him outside. As soon as we would get outside he would stop crying. So I would go back inside and sit down. As soon as my butt hit the bench he was screaming again. About the third time I just told William to get my food to go. I ended up eating outside while William held Levi. Ugh.
Then on Sunday afternoon we were all watching the Olympics together. Levi was on our hotel bed. William was sitting on a chair right next to the bed on one side of him and I was on the other. We both looked away for a minute and Levi decided to practice his double barrel roll pommel horse dismount onto the floor. He landed on his back and screamed for about 5 minutes before falling asleep. It scared us all but Levi is fine and doesn't seem to hate us for letting him fall off a bed. Oh well... it was bound to happen once, right?
Levi has been eating 3 meals a day since I left Dallas. He enjoys everything and so far has had no allergic reactions to anything except maybe sweet potatoes. I'm considering trying them again soon. He is still eating Similac Spit Up and it seems to work great! We are so glad that his spit up has been reduced! I'm certain he has gained a ton of weight but we won't know for a few more weeks.
Please pray for us as we spend our last 3 days with William. We will hopefully see him again in October... but the leave is uncertain right now.
Up next... pictures from vacation!
