Um yea... it's snowing.

I'm not sure you heard... but it's snowing in Dallas. Quite a bit. Um actually it's on record as the most snow in Dallas ever on one day. And this day isn't over yet. Not for three more hours. Insane.

After I finally got home today... Oh wait did I forget to mention that none of the schools closed today, because by the time they realized how much it was snowing school was already going on. I mean last night our part of Dallas wasn't even in the snow zone... just sleet. Then at 6:30am they were predicting 1-2" of snow for us. And here we are at 8.7". SERIOUSLY ALMOST 9 INCHES.
Anyways, after I got home around 4pm, I called up Jonna and her husband Bryan and Christine and asked if they wanted to come play in the snow with us. Yea. They did. I mean wouldn't everyone want to?

So we hit the streets. Well the grassy areas. We made snow balls, played with some neighborhood kids, and the boys acted like idiots that have never seen snow. Yea, you heard me. William and Bryan decided they wanted to sled. Well we didn't exactly have a sled on hand... so they found a card board box and started trying to sled down the hill on the box. Well they are big boys and that didn't exactly work. So they decided just to barrel roll down the hill in the snow. Yep roll down a hill that ended in a creek. On their bare bodies. They are insane. Oh and Bryan ate some snow. Gross.

Anyways here are some pictures... and amusing videos! Enjoy!

Someone's snowman near my apartment... complete with feather!
Bryan attempting to sled on his stomach. This is one of many attempted sledding positions.
William attempting to sled.
Jonna in the snow!
Bryan playing with the neighborhood kids. Their mom was really happy that she didn't have to play with them!
Can you see what Bryan is doing? Eating snow!
This is how deep it was at 6pm... and it's been snowing since as well!
Making snowballs!
Lucy in the snow... NOT enjoying it.
Teeny in the snow!
Jonna after she fell down... whoops!
So this video is from right after Jonna hit Bryan in the face with a big snowball... he wanted her to apologize.

It was a ton of fun! Across the creek from us were a ton of dogs running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

In other news our lights keep flashing. William seems concerned that our food might go bad. I'm a tad bit concerned about the HEAT. IT'S 28 FREAKING DEGREES OUTSIDE! Duh William!

Anyways I can't wait to sleep in and spend the day getting work done with my hubby next to me! Good stuff!
